LOEWE Autumn/Winter 2023
LOEWE’s FW23 women’s runway was a celebration of silhouette, texture and the way materials react to light. Combining the past and the present, the LOEWE show curated looks resembling “the ghost of fashion,” according to LOEWE Creative director Jonathan Anderson.
The runway spotlighted standout pieces, including super-fine leather jackets and a multicolor shearling coat. These designs were rich in details, playing with the concepts of draped and curved leather, silk duchesse, satin, velvet, cashmere knit, feathers, and crystals. Each ensemble boasted a unique texture, ranging from squishy mellow nappa to shiny calfskin, fuzzy shearling and brushed suede.
Ferragamo Autumn/Winter 2023
The Ferragamo show reimagined old Hollywood glamour with oversized shearling coats and stunning leather ensembles. Channeling inspiration from the wardrobes of stars who the Ferragamo house worked throughout the 1950s in Hollywood, Creative Director Maximilian Davis captured the essence of their timeless glamour and elegance. The collection’s looks fuse that legendary allure with artistic references, elements of biker style, and intricate Renaissance draping.
Fendi Couture Autumn/Winter 2023 at Paris Couture Week
The Fendi couture show concentrated on fluidity, drape and shape, merging these elements together to meet modern standards. According to Artistic Director of Couture and Womenswear Kim Jones, the collection was curated around Delfina’s high jewellery. Colors reflected that of flesh tones and stones, such as black diamonds, rubies and sapphires. The runway unveiled evening wear crafted from neoprene-tailored furs and chevron-feathered shearlings, embodying a unique blend of modern elegance.
Dennis Basso Autumn/Winter 2023
In honor of Dennis Basso’s 40th anniversary, the collection reflected self-confidence, glamour, luxury and elegance.
